Sandra, Team Leader
Sandra has spent the past 25 years making sure patients feel confident and comfortable while receiving dental care. She has performed multiple administrative roles and understands what each patient can expect from beginning to end. Sandra has had extensive training in management and insurance billing. She is passionate about helping patients maximize their insurance benefits and coordinating their dental care.
In her spare time, Sandra loves to cook, attend concerts, and travel the world. Feel free to reach out to her and she will gladly assist with any questions or needs.
Jen, Extended Functions Registered Dental Assistant
Jen is our dental assistant at Encinitas Dental Art. She was born and raised in Vista California. Jen has been in dentistry in San Diego for 13 years. She graduated from Loma Linda School of Dentistry with her expanded functions certification in 2018. She loves providing quality dental treatment using state-of-the-art equipment.
In her down time, Jen enjoys camping and traveling with her husband and dogs.
Shannon, Registered Dental Hygienist
Shannon started her dental career in 2009 as a registered dental assistant then continued her education and became a registered dental hygienist. She is the fourth generation in her family in the dental field and feels as if she was meant to do this. Shannon loves sharing her knowledge of all things dental and continues to learn while keeping up with the latest the dental field has to offer.
Shannon grew up here in San Diego and enjoys the beach; she loves to travel and spend time with her family. Her ultimate goal is to ensure the care and comfort of every patient while getting to know their specific needs.
Sam, Dental Assistant
Sam has been in the dental field for several years, and it has always been her passion. She is originally from the lake in New Hampshire and loves anything on the water. Sam moved to San Diego eight years ago for the sun and the beauty. She started her dental career in a holistic setting and is extremely passionate about whole body health.
Outside of the office, Sam loves anything outdoors, from camping and going to the beach to exploring the world. Her biggest passion in life is making people smile and helping them maintain a healthy smile they are proud of.
Teri, Registered Dental Hygienist
Teri graduate from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry where she attained her dental hygiene degree. Teri went on to New York University where she earned her bachelor degree in dental health education. Teri has been practicing dental hygiene in California since 1994. With a profound love of learning and the desire to pass on the knowledge to her dental patients, she continues researching and studying the advances within the field of dental health and its effects on a person's overall health. In her free time she enjoys photography, hiking, and getting together with friends or simply just sharing a good movie with her daughter.
