As a skilled dentist, Dr. Ismail can help patients with reconstructive dentistry, surgical extractions, computer guided surgery of implants, and complex treatment planning. In addition to her rigorous continuing education courses, Dr. Ismail was an adjunct faculty at Midwestern University Dental School in Chicago teaching first- and second-year dental students clinical skills before moving here. Her love for academia is apparent in her style of communication, explaining complex concepts in a comprehensive way to empower her patients.
Dr. Ismail graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, rated the number one dental school in the country by QS World University Rankings, in 2012. She attended an intensive one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) where she received experience in aesthetic, and restorative dentistry. Dr. Ismail is a citizen of the world. She has lived all over the world, but moved here to become a proud San Diegoian four years ago. Outside of work, her devotion to the community and others is reflected in her commitment to volunteering. She has worked with multiple organizations performing dental care for refugees in Greece, Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine. As a self proclaimed foodie she enjoys cooking delicious and creative food for her family, including her 2 daughters, staying active, and learning about overall wellness.

Armed with years of experience and training in dental anesthesia, oral surgery, special needs dentistry, and complex dental treatments, Dr. Henninger is the busiest transformational dentist in Southern California. As a leader in his professional community, he is elevating the standard of care across the dental industry.
A Navy veteran, Dr. Henninger earned a D.M.D. at the Medical University of South Carolina, completed a hospital-based residency at Camp Pendleton, and is currently on staff at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas. Certified by the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, Dr. Henninger is able to provide IV Sedation and collaborate one-on-one with other physicians. Leading this team, he ensures that each patient gets customized treatment from start to finish.
Dr. Henninger lives in Carlsbad with his wife Camille and their three children. In his spare time, he enjoys many outdoor activities including running, biking, camping, and taking his off-road FJ Cruiser out climbing.
Dr. Carolyn Thompson is a compassionate and experienced dentist dedicated to providing personalized and gentle care with a comprehensive approach focusing on the connection between oral health and overall well-being. Dr. Thompson has always been passionate about being on the forefront of cutting edge technologies and up to date with the newest science and information. She utilizes this to provide dental care which seamlessly combines biocompatible materials, minimally invasive techniques with the latest dental innovations. A firm advocate for preventative care, Dr. Thompson always takes the time to educate her patients on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and empowers families to achieve optimal health naturally.
A Florida native, Dr. Thompson received a degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Florida and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. She served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy providing dental care to active duty Sailors, Marines and Soldiers for 5 years. Dr. Thompson and her family relocated to Solana Beach, CA in 2021 and have immersed themselves in the local community. She has four children and you can find her and her family on the beach, hiking, supporting local youth sports, or anywhere outdoors enjoying all Southern California has to offer!
